The Dindigul District Fencing Association (DDFA) is committed to promoting Olympic fencing across Tamil Nadu by discovering young talent, empowering underprivileged athletes, and preparing players for national and international competitions. Established in 2015 with a strong vision to nurture world-class fencers—especially from economically challenged backgrounds—DDFA began with just 10 passionate members and has since evolved into a recognized and respected association. Today, it proudly holds government affiliation, an indoor stadium allocated by Dindigul Corporation, and is guided by NIS-certified coaches trained under the National Institute of Sports. Through regular district, state, and national-level tournaments, DDFA continues to advance its mission of making fencing accessible, inclusive, and competitive at the highest levels.
